... I found a good deal online for 1/3 of the normal price. So I bought three four-day passes, and Kat and I planned a big surprise for Wren.
The scheme we came up with was that I would, the night before, discover that there was a "Legends of Poker" event in Orlando, and sigh about how I wish I could go. Then in the morning, I would explain how I wanted us all to go, because they had it configured so that the more tickets you bought, the more poker celebrities you got to meet ...
... the line was too long then, well, we could come back some other time. It makes visiting theme parks much more relaxing - particularly when you can look at other people, obviously under time pressure, trying to force exhausted children to 'enjoy themselves'. ... and many of the water rides.
Despite all the enthusiasm of Universal Studios, this trip did not make it on their #1 spot for favorite places. In fact the highlights for the boys were still the National Parks. It will be inter sting to ask this question again after the next leg of our trip to Asia.

... the boardwalk until dark, visiting the Lego store and the huge Disney store before watching the sun drop and wishing on the first star we saw that night. I believe that wishing on stars at Disney makes it much more likely that the dreams will come true so we made sure to wish big and keep them secret. My belief was solidified when I heard them play “When You Wish Upon a Star” across the boardwalk as we wished.
