We had a lovely lunch at Pinnochios restaurant. Michelle even got a free chocolate cake! Oh, we had badges too so everyone knew it was Michelle's birthday. I had a 'first time' badge. Then there was my group of friends - nine of us - we weren't the cool kids and we weren't the, shall we say, academic kids, we were right smack in the middle of our class and got along with everyone. It is safe to say we were friends with everyone. We had no conflicts or anxiety about our relationships with any of our classmates. Well, that's always been my memory at least. That, to ...

You may recall yesterday Matt went for run that resulted in him subjecting himself to more heat and humidity than he'd anticipated. Well today it was Jen's turn. A quick bite for breakfast and Jen headed up Ocean Drive for a 1.8km walk to the Avis office to collect the car. It was only 27 degrees but the humidity unreal. Starting at 4th Ave, she was doing ok. By 9th Ave, she was a little uncomfortable but still enjoying the views ...
