We got to eat biscuits (not cookies, but scones) gumbo, jambalaya, pralines, and a flambéed banana pudding. It was all delicious and we look forward to trying the recipes when we can. From there we headed up to Oak Alley plantation, the most picturesque plantation we’ve seen, with a beautiful alley of oaks ...

... presentation, and drove over to our unit. We have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. It is nice and quiet and right on one of their 4 golf courses. We unpacked and then went to a nearby grocery store for some breakfast items before driving over to the Ritz Carlton for dinner. We had the tasting menu and it was all excellent—not a bad dish in the whole meal. I think I gained 2 pounds. By the time we got back it was time for ...

... within the park. We headed to the dinoland USA area. It had a carnival atmosphere, and we rode a rollercoaster similar to one we have at the royal show. We then hopped on a ride called 'dinosaur'.This ride was pretty hairy I thought! You rode in a rollercoaster size cart and then very real looking huge dinosaurs popped out at you! I think kids would be terrified by this! Maybe I found it scary as I grew up watching Jurassic Park?? haha With ...
