    ... be easier to give the tour. We went with the first group and our tour guide started off talking about the different hops used to make beer. We then went onto different sections and ended up at their automated warehouse. The beer sits here and extra 3-4 weeks because they put in a little extra sugar and beer will ferment more during this time.

    ... us want to pack up the cases and un pack. Took off at 9 for Salzberg. It was 3 1/2hours to get there then 4 back. We were hungry and tired although had a couple of Nana naps on the way. Passed the little town in Austria called Pentling where Pope Benedict was born. (Bit of trivia for you) . One town we passed thru the bus had to go thru these big thick arches that were actually Medieval gates hundreds of years ...

    Damn details!! There was absolutely no way we were staying in Plzen, so once again poor old Ken jumped in and got us to the correct hotel in very good time (for a man who drives me to distraction with his meandering style of driving in Canberra, the European Ken version is a
    demon behind the wheel – very impressive).

    Today we were headed towards Nuremberg but it was too early to stop and also today it was decided that we would pick Anton and Jane up in Dubrovnik in Croatia on the 10 August which gives us nine days to get there.
