... could view some of them from the beach. It was windy and misty on the beach and the spray from the sea water blew across the beach but it was very atmospheric. We all felt a bit windswept on the return drive back towards Lorne. As we passed the turning to the Cape Otway lighthouse we decided to go in despite the entrance fee. Although I'm thrilled to head to New Zealand, I'm forever grateful I decided to amend my trip and visit this wonderful ...

... We then continued the relaxation by spending some time in the meritons hot tub and sauna. Lovely jubbly! Feeling much better this evening, we decided we could try our first proper meal in a few days and Scott had been eyeing up a nice Mexican so he popped out to get an obscene amount of food and we settled down to a nice movie while munching away! No photos today, thank ...

We spent the afternoon reading our kindles and the heat was a bit more bearable as now there were clouds in he sky which gave us salvage from the sun. Around 4pm the heavens opened but we were given advanced warning by the extreme sudden drop in temperature which we had learnt in Asia so the washing and chair etc had already been put away. We hung out in the car during the storm planning our next trip back to the coast and thankfully the rain eased up for dinner time. ...
