A drive up the coast

... Antarctic, Andean, and South American habitats. We learned a lot about the formation of the delta. The second half of the building houses the aquarium. Most of the tanks have fish from the Danube or delta. Most interesting, we learned that Danube river eels migrate from the river, across the Black Sea, through the Bosporus and Dardenelles, into the Atlantic to the Sargasso Sea. ... On the other side of the road there was a huge lake with a resort sporting a swimming pool and more bars.  The lake itself left a lot to be desired - full of rubbish, weeds and generally green and slimy in appearance. In fact I have been really surprised by Romania as a whole. Each little town is very pretty with big white churches, lots of farm land and stunning mountains. The people are very kind and friendly and always attempt their best English with us. It is really hot here ...
