Marilyn was about 30 yards behind as I got to the train. She was worried that I was going to leave her behind. Would I do that?

... a bit out of the way for getting to Salzburg but many pretty scenes, houses and mountains were evident on the road there. This little town is very pretty indeed – high, snowy mountains and a great big lake. Plenty of pretty little houses also. The last stop of the day was to drive the narrowest road in all of Austria up to Eagle's Nest on one of the special buses that journeys up to the top of the mountain. From there we took a side road, with more switchbacks, up to the Edelweiss-Spitze. This was the highest point on the road at 2571 meters. There were 360 degree views, and even a restaurant with a Zimmer (i.e. rooms you could rent).
