Today we passed lots of lodges and holiday places - lots of fishing here. We ended up on Lake Michigan at Point Beach state park. We had a lovely spot within walking distance of the beach. Too cold to swim as the wind was up and lots of waves. It is near Two Rivers - a lovely town.

... to the beach. We visited city beach or "Neshota Shore." It was about noon by the time we left for the beach. We stopped at the grocery store because we forgot sunscreen and aloe and both me and grandpa are pink. We met Kaye, Jerry, and Patty at the beach and all just sat there just enjoying the weather. Jesse and his wife, Kristie, stopped by for a couple of minutes. I got in the lake. My ...

... was not very interesting to me. I didn't know anyone there, and everyone was (of course) either younger than 10 or older than 17. Grandma had fun, though, meeting many cousins and second cousins whom she never knew. I don't know if I included this in my previous blog but, Grandma's last remaining aunt passed away Friday morning. The funeral is wednesday and we are considering staying an extra night so we can go.
