We arrived to Ljubljana late Friday night and just got to the hotel and hung out before bed. Saturday morning we headed straight to the caves. I have been to the caves before in Ohio like the Indian Taverns but this was amazing. There were parts where the cave was over 100 meters tall! ... foggy and raining one minute, and then in 2-3 hours we were on the coast in glorious sunshine peeling off all our layers.

So we wandered around Piran for a bit through the narrow cobbled streets in the old town and then along the sea front. Had a pretty awesome black chocolate icecream here too before driving back to our base in Bled.

We ventured back into Bled town for some dinner, choosing Pizza Rustica to satisfy our bellies.

We left the ship not knowing what to expect – the ship docked on our side so we got to see all the security firsthand before leaving, but no issues getting off or back on (another stamp for the old passport!).

We collect a tourist map, and headed up the stairs trail to Tito Square where old buildings were abundant as well as a lot of old history. There were plenty of tiny wee shops, being 9am Sunday morning, most were closed for the day.

Oktober se je začel s prečudovitim sončnim dnem. Zbudila sem se vesela in polna energije. Tudi pri frizerki je blo zanimivo, ker je ravno v tistem terminu v Izolski porodnišnici počasi, počasi na svet prihajala njena nečakinja.
