We are realising what a difference it makes to be in a nice room. Boracay has many beach activities. It is a little too busy for our liking to be honest (too many tricycles and motorbikes). She was with two men who kept calling her away from us apologizing and telling us how drunk she was. They kept insisting that they come with her. However, on a woman to woman level (as silly as that sounds), I could tell something wasn’t right. The girl had pure terror ...

After hiking for three hours between the rice fields of Banaue and the two hours between tricycle and walking to get to Batad, the next morning to keep me from missing anything, I went down through hundreds of steps to reach the core of the village and then another two hours to get to the waterfall, then back to the hotel, shower and breakfast and off for a beautiful three-hour trek ...
