... the overnight ferry to Cebu. We went with a different company this time which was cheaper. We bought the cheapest ticket and quickly bought some 'cold' street food before heading on the boat.

Once we were on the ferry we got settled and sat on the deck and planned out next route and where we wanted to go. We spent a couple of hours on the deck eating crackers and orieo's before getting in our bunks.

The journey was was pretty smooth and we arrived in Cebu dead on ...

I went up to the clinic up the street thinking that it wouldn't be too much just to see a doctor to maybe give me something to make me feel a little better. ... the saddle the area around Batad looked amazing and it got even better from there. Once we reached Batad you could see the rice terraces and they were amazing I mean really amazing I would go as far as to say its the most impressive man made thing I have ever seen. Me and Kim stopped for lunch at a place that had an amazing view before trekking across the terraces to a waterfall we had heard about. Trekking through the villages and seeing life up ...

... course we are sharing the road with big trucks and larger buses too. The horn, unlike North America where it is used to say "Get out of my way" is used here just to make sure people know you are coming...so it is used pretty constantly.

Arrival in Caticlan we are dropped off at the Jetty port. There we buy three tickets each...one for the boat to Boracay, then a second for the terminal fee and a third for an Environmental Fee. The terminal Fee ...
