... wanted to stay on the Bukit Peninsula for a few days while we were waiting for our passports. We gave them to a travel agency so they could deal with the paperwork for our visa extension. The market was the real deal. Local fishermen were sleeping in the shade at noon after a full day's work already. There was a huge selection of lobsters and fish. And I saw the biggest tuna I've ever seen.

... really no fun. Not to me, at least. Maybe, looking at the kind of people who come here, the people who WANT touristy, dirty white beaches where locals sell you **** for incredibly high prices, people who are not looking to get to know the real Bali life with it's perks, beautiful landscapes and awesome food. All the things you only get if you submerge a little more, off the beach walk. Or maybe it's just me who doesn't like this... I don't like being asked to buy stuff at ...
