... This afternoon I will have to go back to the SOS clinic to have the stitches removed from my lip. Dr. Puteri will be on duty as from five o'clock. I hired a car with a driver for the day, which is very comfortable and little more expensive than separate taxi's. My god, do I need that car for the full day! While the morning was quiet, in the afternoon the roads are swamped by thousands of cars and millions of motorbikes. This being the days ...

We checked in (it was very basic but when it's that cheap you don't complain even when the toilet paper has to be bought by you) and then headed to the harbour to reserve our boat places for tomorrow morning. On the way there there was a traffic jam and when we came to a stop the moto fell over. We jumped off with no scrapes (yay!) and picked the moto up as soon as it hit the ground...surfboard first! A quick inspection of the board showed some small dents on the top deck but no creasing or dents on the ...

We packed our bags early the next day as we had to check out by 12.30pm. We left for Tanah Lot, in Ubud for sight-seeing. The place was wonderful having the ancient Tanah Lot Temple just by the sea. Unfortunately. we weren't able to walk across the stones as it was high tide. Tanah Lot is actually popular for their beautiful sun set view ...
