Chose curieuse, le coin semble être un lieu de vacances israélien: les affiches sont en hébreux dans tous les hôtels du coin, les restos ont un menu "taste of Israël", et nous avons même été rejeté d'un établissement car il leur était réservé. Étrange. À Goa, tout était écrit en Russe, même les noms des magasins.
Néanmoins, nous entendons parler français à tous les coins de rue. Les français semblent toujours inclure ...
DDD-Monkeys on a Hot Tin Roof

that many monkeys there though – considering it was called Monkey
Temple (probably a good thing having Fred the Monkey Whisperer with
us!) - although they did make us jump when they started jumping
about on a hot tin roof – what a racket! The trip down the 600
steps was certainly much easier than going up and after a cooling
coconut milk drink we set off on the 2 k walk back chatting to the
locals ...

... but still quite intimidating especially as you get laughed at alot!
Everyone kept telling us we must go up and eat, that it was good luck! We didn't think it'd be good luck for us, and were politely trying avoid this. We knew we'd have to eat by hand, and the amount of hand shaking we'd been doing was putting us off, also was irritating my mild OCD with hand washing, brought on by my profession.
We couldn't refuse and got dragged up for the feast. Alcohol hand ...
