... the characters into the story and the runaway chain of events that unfold surrounding a pair of twins and what happens when Sophie Mol comes over to stay from England. This book expertly and subtly weaves in themes of religion, family, adolescence, political movements and social class into this really fantastically written book. So we check into our posh resort for 3 nights to help me recover from whatever I had caught and all was going to plan! An afternoon siesta and some AC was just the ticket... I have moved up the coast to Baga Beach, it's a bit more lively than Candolim was, and the new hotel has water in the pool. Not been in it yet though!

I had a few nice curries as well, the vegetarian food over here is as expected much more varied so I've been eating that a lot. manged to avoid Delhi belly so far....

He ended up at one point just dropping it on the floor standing up and staring at it- doughnut. After a few back and fourths he did seem to get the hang of it. I'm sure he'll be fine ;) We got back to the hut and had a lunch on the porch. We chilled again most of the day, lounging in the sun ...

... on a bed of lentils with a salad of mysterious green leaves, followed by a cumquat crumble. I was resigned to wait for the 3am toilet bowl cha cha, but it didn’t arrive. So much for sticking to steak and chips for safety. Sadly dear reader, I was concentrating so ******* my meal I can’t remember ...
