    ... menu. Serves him right, it was covered in little slices of green chillies & he says its the hottest thing he has had since we got here. We walked all the way back again & I've got very sore feet. Bought some new Indian flip flops last night but should have taken the plastic covering off the toe posts before wearing ...

    This morning 4 of us decided to have a look around old Goa in a taxi, first we drove along, looking at all the old buildings, then we went to the magnificent Basilica of Bom Jesus, a huge place, with rather graphic depictions of Jesus on the cross. Complete with the mausoleum, on the top of which is placed the silver casket with the body of St. Francis Xavier who traveled from Spain to Goa in 1542. Next church near by was St Francis of Assisi, again ...

    ... Anjuna or another beach close home for party. The fast beat of Goa progressive trance would then put us in that same state for which the appropriate name for the music was chosen, and time would fly as we danced the night away, turning its melodies slowly into psychodelic tunes bringing us into a state of complete abstraction. There is no better medicine for the soul.

    ... any work for us so we went back to camp. Over the weekend there is a festival and a national holiday until wednesday so in the mornings Vicky and I are hoping to help at the computer classes as the school is closed. This evening the others didn't return from the beach until much later so a few of us went to Colva so I could exchange my traveller's cheques and buy some clothes and things. Everything is so cheap I just wanna buy so much!

    ... delicious shack lunch we decided to not go out for dinner but to continue to nibble our way through the 2kg of chocolate we had left whilst enjoying a few movies.

    As Annabelle rightly pointed out – ‘We can’t take it with us!’

    However we actually only managed about 1kg as we've definately lost our previosus ability to consume everything in sight...
