    ... a while but it didn't look like it was stopping any time soon so I just walked down. The path had turned into a river and the steps had turned into proper waterfalls! My shoes aren't as waterproof as I thought and I arrived at the doctor's sopping wet. Oh well, it's an experience!

    ... so it seemed like a localised problem. It was nearly out flight so we went airside and say by the gate where we found out that it had been delayed. We discussed contingency plans in case it was delayed a long time and then there was an announcement in Chinese over the tannoy.
