    Drove down from Knight Sail our motel on Marathon to Key West to meet up with some friends from the hostel in Miami, Sam and Katie who were staying at a hotel.     After a quick trip on the Everglades in an airboat at Buffalo Tigers, we stopped off at the Costco in Kendall. We stocked up on necessities and then went back to our campground. With the luggage stowed securely in the coach, we headed out, following Lisa and Rich to Cudjoe Key.

    ... a light meal. Dan ordered conch fritters and I ordered a crab salad. Pretty good, but the restaurant was deserted. Very odd.

    Walked on down Duval and stopped at Walgreens to buy tatami beach mats. They're only $1.99 each, so we don't feel bad leaving them in the car. We started walking back toward our hotel. Stopped one more time at a front porch bar called the Speakeasy for an after dinner drink. Back to the hotel and off to bed.

    ... blocks to Irish Kevin's, by the time I got there, I was a total mess. Soaked to the skin, and felt quite ill. After a few glasses of water, and an attempt at drinking a Gin and Tonic (it was only 2pm after all, and I am British!), I had to got back to the hotel.
