... get one when we get home!! Back to LA and traffic is awful, quick phone call home (love FaceTime!) we head to another camera store. This time they have what Shane wants (tripod), quick drive through Hollywood and back towards the airport to say goodbye to our Jeep!! We then headed to our hotel - Trylon Hotel. Cheap for the area but you get what you pay for basically. It was decent and only about a 5min walk to Hollywood Boulevard! It was a long day and sleep was needed!! ...

... over by palm trees. Had a very clean and colourful feeling; shops and restaurants leading up to yet another golden sand beach. By the time we arrived it was lunchtime and we stopped at a restaurant (Eladio's) where I had the most delicious tuna salad - a recipe I will recreate one day! Now we're heading to Yosemite and we're going to stop to camp somewhere along the way. 'Twas a beautiful ...

... expanse around us. Making a different pit stop we pulled over to view the Henry Miller library and museum. The setting couldn't have been more perfect for a Beat Era writer who wrote extensively about the peaceful beauty of Big Sur. The museum is just an old wooden house where anyone is welcome to sit on the porch and have tea or coffee, wander the garden, play ping pong, or peruse the books, records, and art within. Oh, and outside in the driveway was an old van that had ...

... than it was, so we left satisfied and at a better price than expected. I'm excited to go back when we have more time and can start with cocktails in the bar or in the outside patio area. Overall it was a lovely and charming place to go with food that lives up to the style of the building. My flight was early the next morning, so we headed back to the hotel to get some sleep. ...
