Puerto Vallarta, Durango, Mexico exploravallarta... my stomach grumbling and churning in the heat and humidity. What the hell was I thinking? Yes I want a taxi! We should’ve talked about it before hand and said what we each wanted. Only later did I discover he hadn’t wanted to walk, he’d thought I did!

About a quarter of the way into “town”, we are drawn in by a lovely young lady selling time-shares. She entices us with a “map”. Are we lost? Do we ...

Puerto Vallarta, Pacific Coast, Mexico peterhbudd... and backpacks. Anyway, he said they may not have Guantanamo Bay any more but that there will always be Kentucky, and how would I like to find out how it feels to spend some time in the barn getting intimate with a sack of doorknobs? I said I didn't think I'd like that much at all, no sir. And he just nodded, still with that same grin he'd had going the whole time, those teeth so white, just really giving me the chills. Then he just swung his cape ...
Rincon de Guayabitos, Pacific Coast, Mexico dinojay2... they didn't have a chance to do anything but stay on task. They cleaned kennels, cleaned bathroom floors, washed instruments, check animals out and gave instructions to the owners, they took temperatures, pulses and respiration on cats and dogs . . . . and they watched in amazement as Dr. Anthony worked on different surgeries....Thursday at 1:15 at Casa de los Ninos, I am picking up Pati, Hector and Ricardo to take them to the Guayabitos clinic to work for the ...
Lo de Marcos, Mexico lacasaWe arrived in Puerto Vallarta on October 8th around 1:30pm after an early start (4am) to the beginning of our trip. We had a close call and almost missed our flight from Phoenix to PV. When we arrived to PV we were told by the flight crew that it was 88 degrees in PV. As soon as we departed the plane we were immediately struck by the heat and humidity. It felt like it was over 100 degrees ...
Sayulita, Mexico chambo03... for 20 minutes for some reason. This narrowed the time we had to catch our connecting flight to Edmonton. I had bought 3 bottles of tequila in PV airport. Brought it on the plane no problem. After going through customs in Toronto, we had to deposit our bags on the "connecting flight" belt to Edmonton. Then we had to go through Security again to get to our proper gate. Guess what? You can't take liquid on a flight ...
Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico gclarke_99... one another. For example I was told that Cubans are only allowed to travel in their district, not to other parts of the tiny country, then I met a Cuban on vacation from the other side of the country...What? Then there is guaranteed housing, but the quality of houses and apartment complexes differed hugely......so who decides where to put who, and why did the family I stayed with in Trinidad have a house that had been in their family? Cubans don't own their ...
Bucerias, Mexico dolphintherapy... t been able to see them yet. Hopefully we can have a visit soon. Unfortunately Karen has cancer and is in the hospital here in PV. When we first arrived she was going through a difficult time but after getting a blood transfusion and boosting her electrolytes, she is doing much better. Thank goodness! Karen and her family are definitely in our thoughts and prayers and I'm sure they'd appreciate it if you included them in your prayers too. Stay tuned for more. Adios. Tracey & Crew
