... down was way quicker, but really ******* the knees and calf muscles. I was too scared to stop, in case I couldn't start again!
It felt so good to be back in bush, with clean water, not too many people (thanks to it be mid-week and not a holiday time), and we all really enjoyed a well-earned lunch when we arrived back down.
Needless to say, the bus ride back was silent, with most people falling asleep pretty quickly.
Today- I'm sitting on the side of a street while waiting for a couple of friends to come visit my side of town. I sent a text message to my contact teacher's daughter earlier, asking the location of the nearest subway station so I could meet up with some people. I'd asked reluctantly, though I wanted to meet up with my friends, but I was terrified to go somewhere, not knowing the language of the local people and having to ask for directions. ...

At the awards banquet, the team MVP's were announced. The boys' MVP's were Bruno Novo and Daniel Kim while the girls' were Kylisha Kiat, Morgan Tonner, and Marika Veith!
The players finished off the night with a pool party. Tomorrow we depart at 9:00 AM and should be back at TIS by about 12:30.

Tomorrow our boys have an important game against HKA to determine seeding in the playoffs. Our girls are also guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. Tomorrow's games should be exciting!
