chicken salad sandwich on woodstock bread and potato bacon soup, very good.

Our second day in Mountain Home began with us having the rare opportunity to sleep in. We're both getting better at waking up early (when John was working all those years in coffeehouses, he was getting up at least a couple of hours earlier than now) but it felt so good to sleep until sun was streaming in our windows. This lot is also really nice because not only is it a rodeo grounds with plenty of space for the animals to roam and graze, but it has two (yes, TWO) dumping stations on its land. There’s a gas station and hardware store across the street and a Goodwill a few miles up the road. Paradise.
