      Dog culture

A travel blog entry by jchende on Jan 07, 2015

... our first step toward becoming dog people. We are now traveling with the dog ( another stupid idea - get a dog and then retire ) and are in need of a place to get the dog some activity so we can have less craziness at home. Today's weather called for rain but we took the chance and headed for Sarasota any way. We hoped for breaks in the rain so we could get out of the car and explore a bit. It was pretty hit and miss all day weather wise. We drove north and stopped at Venice Beach first. We unpacked our lunch and sat in a covered area where there were picnic tables. After lunch we walked a ...

... England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland. Courtney of course started with me on the trip in Istanbul, Turkey and we went thru 25 different countries together.
Before I rap up this trip I must finish talking about Dublin. While looking for a hostel in Dublin, we found that there were none available for the weekend. Luckily we found a really nice hotel that was giving deal for cheap room rates just outside of the city center. We ended up getting one of the nicest rooms ...
