    ... and this is without doubt one of the best. Really though, to get the best out of it, you would have to either spend hours there, or have a particular interest and just focus on that.     ... 5 hours. Washington airport was easy to negotiate being newish, clean and well organised. The trip in to the city reminded me how beautiful scenery is when the vegetation is other than gum trees. As special as Aus is, there is something about lush green trees which make a place look amazing.
    Check in accomplished, we had a light meal in one of the restaurants and then bed..... 29 hours after we got out of bed in Melbourne!
