The Welcome Center had some merchandise, wine store and two seminar areas. We also picked up our tickets for the Pastry Seminar later in the day. ... we had booked around 6 months ago) and we were told we'd have to take a minivan. By this point, it was 9.30pm FL time, 1.30am our time, and we'd been up since the crack of dawn, so Laura was having none of this....she refused to take the minivan and made the guy go and find us a mid-sized SUV. ... animals were out and about. The safari ride is a huge 30 passenger or so "jeep" type of vehicle. It travels in a huge loop through a wildlife safari. We saw hippos, elephants, lions, ostriches, gnu, zebras, assorted antelope, gorillas and flamingoes. The scenery is beautiful, you can tell Disney spares no expense on landscaping and creating that "magical feeling".
