Today was our first full on taste of the Disney World parks, starting where the heart of it is - at the magic kingdom. This is the one you automatically think of when you imagine Disney world with Cinderella's castle at the centre (the one at the beginning of all the Disney movies). As you enter the park through the parking barrier, the guy who has just robbed you of $17 says "have a magical day" and the grin automatically slides right on. We ...

Today we did every single rollercoaster in Universal and didn't throw up. We win. The best was the dragon flight one in Harry Potter world and we did both tracks cos they are different. That means we did two with a five minute break in between. The ride through Hogwarts was amazing and Sarah's favourite ride hands down. It was kinda a mix of a rollercoaster and a 3D movie. It's as the only ride that ...

We also enjoyed the 'Lion King tribute' which was a spectacular show that was full-on. It was in a large auditorium and four large animatronic Lion King characters were brought in from each corner. There were about 4 or 5 main singers dressed up in African clothes and lots of dancers and acrobats in African animal costumes, much like the musical. They sang songs from the Lion King. The kids loved it!

... once we were in the water we realized that it was warmer than being out of the water.

We were not brave enough to take another wave hit (yet) so we went back to the "Castaway Creek" and rode that for a loop around the park. As soon as we got in we were both like... Hey, this water is actually warm once your used to it!

After that Jodie rode the Castaway Creek for another 30 minutes to an hour...I'm not sure because I was fast asleep in a beach ...

... back home 12 hours later. This tour was by far the favorite for all. We were able to witness the Atlantis shuttle up close and personal. Inspiring. There are no other words needed.

Jonah and I experienced a simulated ride in the space shuttle and there were endless interactive opportunities for all ages. I would highly recommend this tour for any one who is taking trip to Florida.

Lastly, Sam,myself, Indi and Nathan venture off to Animal Kingdom. I loved this ...
