Mum had to wake me up at 4:30am because we had to get up for the plane. I was pretty tired because I couldn't get to sleep. We arrived in Queensland at about 10:30am and went straight to the hotel. The national sandcastle competitions had just recently been held here and were still on display - they were all unbelievably detailed but I believe they'd chosen the right winner! After my walk I headed to the main shopping area to grab myself a coffee and perused the tourist info to decide what I should fit into my time here on the Gold ...
