    ... there is no one swimming here. They say the wet season brings dangerous swimming. Hmmmm. When you see the photo you will not get it. It is the wet season here and with that comes comes very humid weather and is known for the rainy outbursts often in the afternoon which then gives some relief of the heat and build up to the shower.     ... open for the remaining 20 minutes, I tried to talk to him so he would not fall asleep, arrived at the "Smart Hotel" in one piece, the staff were lovely, the manager greeted me, sat down and we chatted away and then the reception staff walked me through the city map with recommendations for what to do while I was there. Dropped my bags and off I went to catch sunset at Mandalay Hill.....Now the Muay Thai is over and the next stage of my travelling begins!

    ... so reclusive, got to confess it felt quite a pain to make the effort to go to this - having become such free spirits, I guess we don’t like being forced to go to or do things. We had to ‘trek’ up the steep hill to the sister Cape Panwa hotel during the day to book our seats, necessary apparently for the table plan, so off we went. Phew, our legs had got lazy so it felt real hard work going up the hill in 34 degrees humid heat, ...

    ... it was either 1,200 or 1,500 baht depending on how high you wanted to go and your up for a matter of a few minutes. Should have done it in Vietnam for half the price and they went a lot higher and didn't have someone hanging up there with you. So hubby canned that idea, considering with his job he is up in the air quite often.

    ... the bridge connecting Phuket with the mainland is 11km and an unbroken beach. I set out at least as far as the airport, about 1-2km to see if the beach was divided for airport operation.
