... back to blue hill resort, as there was no one on these beaches. Along the way we picked up a friend...named him Skippy the dog. We walked quite far, and he made sure that we were not far behind. Stopping for a swim a bit of late avo sun, skippy took a liking to me. Eventually he got a bit bored and wandered off. Played a few ball games then headed back to our resort. We don't really venture out much at night here on a scooter, as the roads are bit to hilly and you ...

The pool behind the bar has a nice diving board (approximately 3 meters high) many people, including myself a couple of times were jumping from there into the water, people were dancing and swimming in the sea, even a couple of boats which lay 20-30 meter from the beach were occupied by people from the party ;). All these are required for a reason and after I became certified I can see why because I have run into a few issues with masks and regulators but calmly knew what to do and all was fine. On average it is much more affordable to get certified in Thailand. Open Water costs 980 Thai ...

Had a beer at the EAZY bar, before Sarah insisted she call it a night at 9.30, despite kipping all day. Pretty wild. Luke sat on the shorefront and watched the world and thought of the old days.

Koh Tao 3/5-7/5 Our dive school was close to the ferry and just on the edge of the main town. They put us up in a decent bungalow but the fan provided little in the way of cooling us. We were thrown straight into the course and had to do 5 hours of theory and questions not long after we had arrived. Being stuck in a classroom doing tests was not the reason we went travelling, however we were fully committed to the course and we took it seriously, ...
