    ... rotating drum that dries them. From there, the leaves are put in a rotating grinder so that the flavour can easily be released from the leaves later on. Up until now, the leaves were not broken or creased, and therefore would not release as much flavour as easily.     ... of what small town is! Jiangsu is all about pottery, just like Yixing. There are pots everywhere! In the streets, in the alleys, on the sidewalk, in the shop windows, on the dog and the cat, in other pots...they are EVERYWHERE! Some as tall as me, others smaller than a walnut.     ... to the station. The park is across a lake from the downtown section of Nanjing, so you could get a great view of the city. In the park people were rollerblading and flying kites with blinking lights on them.

    Our train didn't leave until 10 pm - because my colleague had to teach a class until 5. We decided to take the slow train and sleep the whole way to Beijing and arrive rested early Sat morning.

    ... so we had to carry him to the car and then into the hotel. Once we got the hotel and he was in bed he threw up all over the place. Only problem is that he stumbled into the wrong bed and puked in another colleague's room. And don't forget - I still had to pack for my Beijing trip early in the morning and move to another room. Some how I managed to pack and get some sleep before I rushed in the morning to catch my bus to Nanjing.
