... warned not to eat the brownies!!! About 6 of the group went to buy some and a couple of aging hippies were reliving their youth!! However we did not partake and I was pleased that my training ghadlearnt from the kids at Shortwood made me more knowledgable than I'd realised about the drug scene!! We were admitted to the Bob Marley area and a Rastafarian guide allocated to us! They were all as high as kites but full of peace ...

This is what the bay here is called and stems back to the day when it used to run red with the blood of whales that were killed here!! It's amazing how quickly the day goes just watching the beach ...

After yesterday's excursion it was good to get back to relaxing on the beach! It has been a very windy day but hot so pleasant really but the downside was that no boats could go out. We spent time in the sea cooling off and jumping the waves!!!! There is always a lot of activity on the beach With vendors trying to sell cigarettes , flags, wooden objects and all sorts of things ! Lots of singing going on and ...

Wednesday, 11th February, Bloody Bay to Lucea Lucea

We'd agreed on a late start today, so we all slept in. We had a head wind again, so had to continue our journey under motor. It took us about 3 hours to get to our destination, the beautiful wine glass shaped bay of Lucea Lucea. Along the way we saw lots of flying fish and beautiful coastline. At the entrance to the bay there was a monstrosity of a hotel, ...
