We are met off the ferry by another jeep and all our bags are hoisted onto the rooftop while we all pile into the back. We are sat on two benches that run either side of the truck holding onto the ceiling bars for dear life as the truck makes its 40min journey across the island. The road soon becomes just a track as we venture further into the …

That was fun.

    I didn't ...

... time with drinking it just in case.

Finally found the beach down an alley and it full people everywhere dancing etc. Broke through the crowd and strolled along to the south end passing drink stalls all along, partiers, fluoro clothing sellers until we met with fire dancers. These guys light up ropes/batons and dance with them, twirling them at a great rate. Impressive.

Then to the next stop which had a burning hula hoop which people were jumping ...

... what a mouse was (i even had to do mouse impressions). We had a group meal at the resort accompanied by a power cut! Tuesday morning we had a lovely breakfast then set off for Koh Samui, a drive, ferry, drive! We arrived about 3 in the afternoon. The hotel was lovely except the pool was out of service, we were told that if we went in we would be electrocuted- definitely enough to keep us out. So we hit the beach for a swim! That evening we all went to Chaweng, first to a ...
