We had a nice arvy in the caravan park - had happy hour drinks with a couple we met back at The Entrance and met another couple who'd just bought an old Golf caravan (same brand as ours) so had a chat with them too. Then we sat down at the reserve at Moonee Beach and had a vodka.
... After dinner I went on the bottle run to grab some beers and joined everyone else around the campfire. It was a chance to meet surfers who had been there for a few weeks, months or even years. They run an academy at camp where you can stay for a month-3 months including surf lessons, theory sessions, fitness training and if you stay for 3 months you become an instructor at the end of it.

We really enjoyed the course, both of us had moments of brilliance accompanied by many more moments of utter rubbish golf.....but as i was reminded a bad day at golf is better than a good day at work.

It was 11pm when we left Sydney on board our first greyhound coach and the start of our east coast adventure! 7 hours & 30 minutes later we arrived at Coffs Harbour.
