By lunchtime we are in Coffs Harbour, where a friendly customer service officer at Abco Caravans (Tracy) has the spare part (the last on the shelf) put aside for us. ... there was no one around so I popped into the info centre located at the bus station to get hold of their phone number and pick up a map. The lady behind the counter kindly offered to call them for me after telling me how unusual it was for the bus to be on time. There was a triathlon going on next to the hostel so they'd had problems getting their shuttle bus out but they were on their way! The guy who picked me up took me on a quick tour ...

... my alarm and taxi that I'd booked, managed to get another one and luckily made my bus, that was a close one!! So hungover!! Next stop was Townsville and a ferry to Magnetic Island then a local bus and eventually to Bungalow Bay. I was that tired I fell asleep on a beanbag. ... appearing as though it may change we drove Grafton's heritage trail. When I was reading up on Grafton I instantly knew I wanted to check out Jararanda avenue which was lined with trees which at this time of the year were brilliantly purple in colour and would satisfy my lack of blossom I had seen this year.
