But luckily they are nocturnal and all tucked up in their holes so we didn't see any. We had lunch and then headed down another part to go see the 3 sisters. All the hours spent looking for an apartment in Sydney have had their reward. We have an apartment with the most amazing view there is: the Opera House and Harbour Bridge seen from North Sydney. In addition, it was located two steps away from McMahons Point’s ferry stop so that was our main way to move around the city.

... times, so having to buy something as a necessity (not even I could rock any of my travelling shoes with a glam dress!) in shops I don't know was my idea of hell. And it was, apart from my yummy superfood salad I found for lunch. I finally found a shoe I loved but it didn't have another half so I had to go to another store, which I couldn't find. Needless to say I was hot, tired, shoeless and pretty grumpy by the time I got back to the Auty's. Try again ...

... the view was marred by a huge cruise ship moored by the ferry boats. Passengers were embarking and large amounts of food was being loaded from the many lorries that were queueing up beside the ship. We believe that the ship takes about 4000 passengers and loading on all the supplies must be a logistical nightmare as there was only space for two lorries to park up to the loading bay on the ship at the same time. ... It was very fun. Beautiful countryside but doesn't hold a candle to Tuscany. So much more history there. I will try to get a photo from the others to share. BTW I saw my first kangaroos in the wild today!!!!! Another first..... Going for dinner to enjoy some interesting pizza ...
