    Off for Half-term to the coast!

    ... extra slow. The first stop is the View point look out. Absolutely beautiful views of the bay. While we were there some Asian ladies became fascinated by the kids and were all having their photo taken with them. At the end if it Zoe turned around and said 'well that was weird'.... Well put.     ... I didn't have a chance to get away from the tourism and was mainly surrounded by rowdy Brits. If you can't beat them, join them! My next island was Koh Lanta. Packed onto a random ferry with a ton of backpacks and heavy hangovers, we were off to a new paradise...Koh Lanta is gorgeous, I stayed at a hostel which was 5 minutes walk from the beach. The beach was busy but as its so massive it doesn't feel busy at all there is so much space ...

    ... for dinner. Fresh seafood was our choice and we meticulously chose 2 large lobsters from the ice to be BBQ'd and served with garlic and pepper sauce. Now don't get excited because it was a huge disappointment. Overcooked, dry and lacking in flavour! I suppose we chose the wrong restaurant, remember the name Mamas. Don't go there.

    ... works is good, but just falls short of satisfactory in the rain and the cold. Trekking outdoors in the middle of the night enveloped by cold is not much fun, nor is living amongst dust, dirt, mess and disorganisation. Plaster dust is a very resilient substance that finds it's way into just about every existing and non existing space there is and I am sure it will take months to eradicate.
