We booked a tour with Chaya for yesterday who is the host of Hertitage Tours in Phuket. ... for dinner. Fresh seafood was our choice and we meticulously chose 2 large lobsters from the ice to be BBQ'd and served with garlic and pepper sauce. Now don't get excited because it was a huge disappointment. Overcooked, dry and lacking in flavour! I suppose we chose the wrong restaurant, remember the name Mamas. Don't go there.

Late yesterday afternoon we headed into Patong Beach. We first visited 30 years ago ...

... works is good, but just falls short of satisfactory in the rain and the cold. Trekking outdoors in the middle of the night enveloped by cold is not much fun, nor is living amongst dust, dirt, mess and disorganisation. Plaster dust is a very resilient substance that finds it's way into just about every existing and non existing space there is and I am sure it will take months to eradicate.
    So here ...
