The day after we arrived we woke up late after enjoying a nice lie in and headed to Oasis restaurant which was a huge open wooden building on stilts with a thatched roof similar to all our bungalows. Up and at the airport waiting for mikes arrival by 8am. Thought it was going to be difficult finding mike but we ended walking toward each other in arrivals! From the airport we got a minibus down to trat, a ferry over to koh Chang and then dropped off at or hotel. Didn't get to the hotel till around 5pm. We got off the boat and walked our way to Chinatown – much farther than either of us expected, but interesting to see the buildings and architecture of the city.
