I was staying at a hostel called Pajamas which was one of the best hostels i have ever stayed in. ... with turquoise waters, backed by palm trees and that's Koh Kood. It's also fairly undiscovered so the tourist infrastructure is basic (apart from some very fancy honeymoon style resorts which were obviously out of our price range!). We'd booked our accommodation in advance of arriving on the island as most of the resorts cater to package tourists so the number of backpacker options are fairly limited. Our bungalow was situated a 5 minute walk from the beach along ...

... equates to greed for personal progress.

Soon I will go home to Seattle. I will wear baked skin of a lazy man in the sun. This time has been substantial, I am ready. I am excited. I am refreshed. The culture of family here is tangible. I have begun to examine where and what I desire to do next in my journey. For me graduate school is only the beginning of a life less traveled, to leave an imprint of open-minded awareness on people. ...
