Acapulco, Pacific Coast, Mexico smiley_kab... travelling on a budget then I highly recommend staying in the tranquil village of Pie De La Cuesta, just nine kilometres up the coast. From here buses run frequently in to town, but don't return in the rush hour as it can be painfully slow - as I found out. Once in Pie De La Cuesta you will find excellent guesthouses and hotels at ...
Pie de la Cuesta, Guerrero, Mexico amazingjourneysFixed budget blues!I wanted to take another break. Rio has been a slam, but Acapulco would be great! If only I can find a cheap vacation, I'd leap. I spent the whole night scouring for deals and places, comparing...poor thing! I can't make it. I just sent an email to Janet. She came in this morning and almost yelled,"I need a break. Are you helping me, Joe?" She's ...
Acapulco, Mexico studenttravel... card games. felt like i was back home though momentarily. again, a couple of people had to depart at this point so it was another case of cheerio. Most of the crew, especially the non spanish speakers really felt trapped and insecure in mexico city after 2 days so a few of us not heading to the states or home decided to large it and got a ticket to acapulco for the sunday for a couple of days just to party and hit the beaches.............TRIP ...
Acapulco, Mexico the-boy_picot... we were making our way into the Bay of Acapulco. Around 11:30 our captain updated us with pertinent maritime information, and then he was off to take over the controls for navigating us to the dock. A small vessel called the pilot boat comes out to meet the ship in the bay. The "harbor pilot" climbs from that boat onto the ship via a rope ladder and then makes his way to the navigational bridge. He assists and directs our captain in bringing our ...
