    ... gave it a miss.

    Our last hotel is a Super 8 (hurrah) and our whole riding group will be going out for dinner tonight.

    Tomorrow we have a short ride (170 miles) back to where we had started 38 days and nearly 14000 miles ago.

    I will update the blog with this final day and give you a few of my reflections on the trip.

    ... the actual Shuttle Atlantis on display! Again, the nerd in me could not stop smiling as I took pictures and marveled at where this plane had been. It all brought me back to space camp, and the kid in me wanting to become an astronaut! Just as we were pulling back into the parking area the skies opened up and a torrential downpour started, soaking everyone as 40+ screaming, waterlogged kids all tried to cram back into their school bus through one tiny door.     It finally got warm enough on the 18th to go to the beach and sit. Last September Wolf and I saw some unique beach chairs that you carry on your back like a backpack and you can carry items in a pouch that is attached to the back. We liked them so we purchased a couple and this is the first time we have used them. The beach was fun and not very crowded,but the water still very cold. Along A1A there are these beach parks that have a parking lot, beach access and bath houses and they are free. ...

    ... reservation. It was only about 2 hours south on I-95 to get there. We were able to visit with Nana when we got there on Saturday and take a swim in the pool with Uncle Michael, Aunt Cheryl and Niki.
