... some photos. The next hike we did was a quick 1 mile hike called the Scrub Ridge walk. This walk was along a marsh and there was no shade so it was very hot. We remembered to put on our hats so that helped a little. ... the actual Shuttle Atlantis on display! Again, the nerd in me could not stop smiling as I took pictures and marveled at where this plane had been. It all brought me back to space camp, and the kid in me wanting to become an astronaut! The weather here is in the 70's and 80's in the day and 40'sand 50's at night. There is also a lot of wind. We sleep with the windows open and it's very comfortable.
I think we have been in one place to long so I am looking forward to moving on next Tuesday, March 1.
The next exciting adventure here is the launch of the space shuttle. It's still scheduled for Thursday and we are going to see it, something I have always wanted to see.
