Our last stop has been Gatlinburg, TN. We enjoyed our visit to the Dixie Stampede and Dollywood. Jim looked all over the place, high and low but never saw Dolly! We ran into the Compton's from Lexington who happened to be here too. We enjoyed having dinner together with Ben, Suzanne, Charlie and Nancy. It was nice to have friends to enjoy a meal with again.

It will be wonderful to be back in South Carolina even though there will be lots of changes from ...

The restaurant had bubble lights which made us think of Carolyn building her house! Plane boarding and departure were on time and we were flying across the Atlantic. Of note, at the foot of the Cherohala, there is a visitor ...

... event over the course of its four days, including the pro-am, from Farragut High School.

The University of Tennessee Golf Team was represented with a putting competition they put on for fans. Several vendors ranging from apparel shops to cable TV providers to resort operators and other sponsors were on hand to market their goods and services.

Thus, the Knoxville Open is about far more than just golf. It is a happening in which ...

... to civilization, we headed down the scenic trail, the one that was supposed to take us up to the highest point in the park for a scenic view of the lake. Well, the trail certainly took us to the highest point in the park. The top of the mountain, however, did not live up to the scenic view we had been hoping for. The edge was covered in trees and I couldn't see the lake. We signed our name on the bench and headed down the ...
