Annual visit to Palm Desert, CA. Our 8th or 9th trip. The last 3 have been two week trips. After a 2 1/2 hour ride we arrived at Shadow Ridge for our two week stay. We were given our first choice of accommodations. Top floor building 2700 with a view of the 16th hole. We ate dinner at SiBon's a favorite restaurant we discovered last year. At the top, clean crisp air and a beautiful pine forest awaits. The pine trees gave off the most amazing smell as we exited the tramway. If I ...

... two little Ralph Lauren T-shirts for Mia, she is going to be a right trendy baby. Tonight after show we decided to go for a little dip in the pool, first time we have since being here. Although slightly chilly was really refreshing. They also had a jacuzzi which was really nice and warm, was nice to chill and chat to people under a clear ...

... for dinner at the local restaurant, bluEmber, who gave Flynn a cake for his birthday (even though his birthday isn't until Tuesday, the resort treat every day he is here, as his birthday!), which topped off an excellent meal. The kids had a buffet style dinner of American cuisine, it had a slection of meat (fried chicken), vegetables (fries and steamed broccoli, cauliflower and carrot), pasta (mac and cheese), dessert (cut up ...
