... car I had previously rented is waiting for us in the parking lot. Even better, Neal was able to arrange the rental of a local home for our last night in the Seychelles. As we say goodbye to Monkey Puzzle, we know that we still have one more day to explore the Seychelles and that we did with lunch at the ...
Victoria, Mahe Island, Seychelles Islands gmanvento... The coral heads are some of the best I’ve seen on the trip, making for a fine snorkel.
Once back on the boat, we half-heartedly attempt to set a stern anchor so that we’d have our bow set into the waves which caused a substantial amount of roll our first night. Feeling we were setting it too close ...

After lunch, we continue on, sailing to our night stop at Port Launay. We get the anchor in just to port of the cross marketing the reef on the western side of the bay and jump in for an evening snorkel. This time we snorkeled all the way to the beach, then back along the cliffs on the eastern side of the bay. The light was pretty low, but, we ...

We roll-up the job and reef the main as we motor sail directly into the wind to anchor in the designated area off Beau Vallon Beach.

We took a short dingy ride to the shore for a brief walk around the port and a dingy trip around Ille St. Anne, a man-made island in the middle of the bay. Back to the boat to await Miles and prepare for our evening ritual. He returned a bit ...

Neal of Sunsail stays true to that Seychellois form and tells us we can bring all our provisions whenever we’d like and ...
Victoria, Mahe Island, Seychelles Islands gmanvento... cannot think outside of the box, are lazy and do not take or take any pride in their job or business. We walk to the internet café, where we spend a couple of hard working hours. Dr T works on South-Africa, me on Madagascar. I manage to book a very nice hotel for 2 nights in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar: centrally located, A/C and internet. I also send many mails to Nosy Be. That is the main diving island of Madagascar, completely in the north. Roads are almost ...
Beau Vallon, Seychelles Islands tonyandmarina... couple of hundred meters down, if you miss by 10cm! There will be no driving in the dark and hopefully not in the rain, either. When you get to the last home, there is a little animal farm which looks abusive to animals * Praslin: " Valle de Mai". That's were the Coco de Mer grows, also look for black Parrots * Best Praslin Beach - Anse Lazio, NW * La Digue Island - bicycle ...
