... of touristy Patong gave me a fresh perspective on Phuket. There's a whole lot more to Phuket than ping pong shows, Phuket Fantasea, lady boys, Bangla road, massages, 7-11s, vacation club sales, pushy tailors and vendors selling you all sorts of stuff. We spent one of the days beach hopping the "southern loop" of the island and discovered a few stunning, less crowded beaches. All thanks to Joan, an old friend who has always assisted us with our travel planning and ...

So I decided to choose a rather oil massage at 300 baht in a place near (there is one every 100 meters). ... at the Big C is Big C radio! There are big loud speakers around the store that announce specials and other stuff. It is all delivered in a radio format and is fun to listen too...even though I can't understand what they are saying most of the time. But it is loud and it never stops. It makes me think it is some kind of mind control technique that maybe the store is applying to their customers.... have a listen--------------------------------- ------------------>
