    ... and tried to lie down under a little bridge she'd tired herself out so much.

    We made sure we brought chocolates for the restaurant staff that had been so nice to Mark and Indi after they had ate every meal there while I was away They made her another mango shake and gave her ice cream when we were over to say bye.

    We packed up, sent quite a lot of winter clothes back to Australia and headed off to catch our flight to Malaysia.

    ... of which he was never without. The temples were beautiful, ornate and colorful. And the grounds were immaculate. People would take flowers and light incense, after talking to locals later we found out this was to bring luck. We made our way round the temples, before heading back to Patong.

    We found a nice looking Japanese restaurant for dinner before heading back to
    our hotel to crash out.

    ... the island away from all the tourists and a lot cleaner! We met up with jack and Anna they recommend a traditional Thai restaurant run by a family who didn't speak any English but loved it when you spoke Thai to them! We had lunch and then sat on the beach with a piņa colada it was a lovely day! We got a taxi boat back (thank god) which was beautiful just as the sun was setting.     ... do not offend anyone while you are travelling. Eg when it is and isn't okay to rock your short shorts/skirts. Do not barter with someone unless you intend on purchasing their products. Considering most people in Thailand work for 500 baht a day, which is roughly $15 AU, it's a waste of their time. Expect the unexpected. Thailand is definitely a place where anything goes. If you want to light fireworks on the beach, ask a guy with lanterns for "bang bangs". Get a mobile phone SIM card ...

    ... we went out to get a Thai dinner :) we all had pad Thai. I had seafood pad Thai, my brother had hickey pad thai and mum had shrimp pad Thai. It was soooo good and such a good price :) after that I went and had red hair extensions put in and mum had her fringe permanately straightened.
