... I trust they know decent breakfast cooking. The tv on the refrigerator across the room has FOX News on; who will take Boehner's place? Who cares?; I'm here, eating great tasting sweet cream filled pancakes before I head out on this nice fall day! Breakfast $12.48 with tip. Packing up my stuff I'm not sure where I will end up tonight. I'm close enough to home that I could make the drive and get in before it gets dark outside. But at the same time ...

Arrived in Canandaigua New York around 5 o'clock and checked into my room at the Lafayette motel. The motel is a very nice mom-and-pop motel. It's nothing overly fancy but the grounds are maintained, the room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. I had to drive through a good part of town before I eve saw a gas station, and it wasn't even a major ...

... uneventful highway driving but it was strange to see the trees in Vermont beginning to turn color. With the early evenings arriving, I guess leaf peeping won't be far away. 420 miles later, we've arrived in West Bloomfield, NY not far from Rochester.

... There is a 103 slip marina, dump station, water spread out in the loops, restaurant and store, picnic areas and some pavilions for rent. This state park is on 2000 acres with over 5.5 acres of lake front on Seneca Lake in the middle of the Seneca Wine Trail. The park has fields, basketball court, biking, bird watching, swimming, boating, and volleyball. This is ...
