... legs from the horseback riding, we set out on the road again. We had the chance to drive through The Smoky Mountains for about 30 minutes, or so it seemed; we had absolutely no service, so we actually used a map instead of our GPS! ... Aripeka to the 'Upper deck' for lunch. It was very busy when we arrived but was given a table quickly. Admit we did wait a while for our food but it was worth it, I had fresh fish sandwich and Di had a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, both were delicious. We hung around a while watching the kids jump off the bridge into the water, it really is a beautiful place, if your lucky you will see manatee's swimming in the creek. All to soon ...

... the location was very convenient. Homosassa Springs State park was just down the road. I asked the desk clerk at the RV park if there was anything we needed to watch out for while at this RV park especially with our dog. She said since they were so close to the park and the area surrounding it was considered a wildlife sanctuary that you do need to watch out for alligators and snakes! Yikes!
