We don’t know what happened, but we all hoped that no one was injured. We have been lucky so far in only seeing one accident so far on this trip. I hope our luck holds!

Rise and Shine... well cloudy in Arkansas.... 6:45am (CT): Morrilton, Arkansas. We woke up at 6:45 this morning and got a pot of coffee going. We get to State Park by 4pm just before the thunder storms start rolling in. It was very quiet in the camp. We where the only ones there, it felt erie. Since it was a cold, wet night we decide its the perfect time to hide away and watch a movie.

The next day Gordon wakes up with a slight head cold. Since it is still cold and raining on and off we decide its a good to do nothing day.

... snake. I tied off the lines to trees, then slid the snake skins back and unrolled my hammock -- and was virtually done. A bit of messing around with some stakes and it was all set. It took some fiddling to get it perfect, but I can see me bringing my time down to just a couple minutes after I've been setting it up every day for weeks.

Benson and I wandered around for a bit after setting up camp, but we didn't have much of a view with the clouds ...
