On a snowy early morning we drove to Madison, met Leo who dropped us off at the bus station just in time to board. Nice and easy trip to O'Hare airport in Chicago with plenty to time to go through Security and rest and get on board Air India's super big flight to New Delhi non-stop. Totally easy but not too comfortable, uneventful trip, lots of food, could sleep with some pills to help, saw an Indian movie on corruption.

After an all you can eat fish fry we headed for Minnesota. Stopping just the other side of the Mississippi River for the night. We nearly stayed in La Crosse, Wisconsin, on the Mississippi River. Its residents were gearing up for the annual Octoberfest parade and parties…lots of drunks in lederhosen stumbling in an out of bars. is called the "Trollway" and troll statues can be found all through ...

Next we visited Little Norway, a Norwegian farm started in the
1850's. It was then bought in the 1930's and kept as a museum to
preserve the Norwegian way of life. The biggest and most amazing
building is ...
Well, so far so good. We are stopped for the night in Madison, Wisconsin. The RV has been performing great with no issues at all. Kristi and the boys are at Walmart stocking up for Yellowstone while I rest a bit. Today was a solid 10 hours of driving, two of which were spent battling Chicago traffic. One more long day in the saddle, and then we can start to slow down.
