On the road home

A travel blog entry by dkauten on Feb 15, 2015

Picked up the car at our friends, the Meadors. Hitting the road for Atlanta. Wow, it's been a whirlwind expedition! Feels like we've been gone for months. Can't believe how much we've seen and all the places that we've been in the last 26 days. I will certainly view so many of the places we've visited with a different set of eyes and opinions ...

Of course too many hours have passed, and too many folks are rerouting - so I can't get on any other flights. I'm prepared for the fact that I'm probably flying to Chicago to spend the night and wait to fly out to Paris on Thurs. So I go back through security one more time, and by the time I make it to ...

Busiest Airport in the World and some Chicks

A travel blog entry by zachwortzman on Dec 22, 2012

... oddly enough, dozens of pictures of the Antarctic all over the walls. We also ran into an airport employee who told us she was hoping to see an Atlanta Thrashers game at some point. Despite there being a lockout. And then there's also the fact that they moved to Winnipeg but why get caught up in the details? ...
