      ... of him skating on YouTube. He was impressive. He invited us to his home for breakfast - a sumptuous feast, and we saw his studio and met some of his patrons. He surrounds himself with a coterie of admirers at these breakfasts, and then spends most of his day painting. His work is very whimsical; the finishes are highly lacquered and he works in very large scale. Talented, eccentric and amusing - interesting guy!

      ... with them. Unfortunately us gringos can lead a relatively easy life here without ever speaking a word of Spanish, so we aren’t very motivated to learn it. When you want to work with children, it becomes a problem. Right now I’m getting worried because I have to learn German, and I’ll have to find a class when we’re back in Austria. Last year I was too late to start one, but next year I’ll have to find someway to learn!

      ... a huge semi and it's game over. All these conditions may seem difficult and detract from an enjoyable ride but I don't find it does. For the most part the ride is enjoyable, exhilarating, crazy fun but I have to be constantly vigilant and it certainly has made me a better rider. So thanks Mexico for being so ******* insane!       ... and only woke up (with a horrendous headache) to be told that my bed wouldn't be available for that night - balls!
