    ... 4 movies to choose from and the others didn't look appealing. The movie theatre was huge and very modern. You could choose between 3 seat options ranging from basic to a 2 person sofa in the back row. The sofa was $18 per person though. We opted for the standard at around $4. The movie itself was average I thought. Nothing spectacular. One thing that was interesting was after the previews had finished, everyone was requested to stand for "the Kings Anthem".     ... Hills between Chalong and Kata and at 45 metres high it is easily seen from far away. According to Trip Advisor, it is one of the things to do in Thailand.

    I took a taxi for a 20 minute ride to the Big Buddha. From my taxi I could see the Big Buddha in the distance. It looked like it was 50 metres tall, about as tall as some of the big hotels in the Gold Coast! ...

    ... eve meal/ day of the Buddha celebrations before moving on to Aus! From this quick trip we have reached the conclusion we are going to take up sign language and pole dancing when we get home!
