... of water this trip, that's a big footprint! Eeeik. Our pool boy was at our meeting spot at 5:30 to take us back to our hotel. Back we went, and now we are unpacking, ordering dinner and showering. We have a fresh water shower, with hot water! That's a first in 2 weeks for us. On all our other little islands we only had cold, salt water showers. It feels great to get the 2 weeks of salt and grim off our bodies.  ...

After our visit to the museum, we walked back to the hotel to drop off our bags and then walked back into town to watch a Legong dance performance in the Ubud palace grounds (this is one of the traditional Balinese dance styles). This performance is held for the benefit of the tourists but is performed by a professional troupe, accompanied by a live gamelan orchestra. ... chile sauce over mine. Let's just say my stomach despised me later on. I was tired from the sun's rays anyhow and called it a night. My outdoor shower under the stars was just what I needed. I was in Bali and so appreciative to be here......

... escalated into a brawl between 5-6 men! the police were there in 10-20 minutes and all man taken in. it was so intense it came out of nowhere, I never seen anything like it in my life. I'm just glad no one was hurt.
