... Adam not finding a pair, I bought a dress instead and we went back. Worthwhile visit for me! We got some champagne from the supermarket as we wanted to toast Christmas Day in the sea. (as it happens the bottle is still in our fridge. We were far too hungover) We headed out around 7pm and started with a few cocktails in one of the livelier bars. Saladan is full of wonderful restaurants and a handful of good bars, but they all close by ...

... style! On koh Lanta we are staying at Lanta Dareen where we have our own bungalow. It's a fan room which we though we would give it a try. I think we have fully adjusted to the heat and are finding air con to be too cold someomes! Plus we are heading into busy season now and prices are going up. So a fan room saves quite a but each night. The resort is really beautiful. Peaceful and quiet. ...

... really spicy the food was very very nice. After food we headed back down to beach to watch a fire-show. It was really good, the man was balancing on a tightrope juggling flames while drinking a bottle of beer at the same time. They also had spinning flames that would shoot out fireworks, it was really colourful and good to watch. We headed back to the room for a lush hot shower, and our usual hot drinks, and then off to ...
