Lovely resort, rooms were luxurious, 2 minutes walk to the beach, swimming pool, wifi though only in the lobby, good food and Thai massage.

Today we figured we'd stay inside our room and out of the sun, enjoying the air conditioning, cold showers, the mini fridge, and plenty of cribbage, so naturally the A/C fritzed out, then we lost power. The Thai’s must have a horrid conundrum on their hands with us tourists, on one hand we provide a lucrative profit stream, and on the other a continual stream of annoying, embarrassing and inappropriate 20’s, 30’s and 40 something ...

    ... after 8am.

We were only really using Trang as a quick stop on the way to Koh Lanta but didnt expect to only be there about an hour! Immediately after leaving the train we were accosted. We didnt really have a plan as the internet hadnt been particularly helpful in this area so when a nice enough looking lady offered a transfer for the price we were expecting we agreed. After a quick rush to the ATM and pruchase of some pineappe pie for breakfast, we were ...
