The day was completed with an awesome meal in good company at The Club, which is like a members only expat club with great service and great food. I tried a local fish called hammour which was tasty, and no one had space for dessert!
Safely arrived on Friday night (21.2.2014) in Abu Dhabi. It was an emotional farewell from so many wonderful friends, neighbors and colleagues in Mombasa where I have spent my last 7 years. We here encountered our first language barrier, unable to understant us trying to order chicken nuggets she handed us a menu, I pointed to the nuggets and she looked as if to say how many, so I held up 5 fingers, sweet, and now curly fries and 1 finger!
