... After returning to the hostel to get clean, we decided to go to the Turtle Farm. This was a place breeding and releasing turtles, encouraging conservation, and looking after sick turtles, we were told. The place was at the other end of the 7km long island, so we took a taxi. Which took us to the wrong place. The taxi driver had gone before we knew, so opted to walk the 10 minutes to the turtle farm. Ten minutes turned out to be 30 minutes, and it ...

... My flight eventually left at 10pm meaning I was arriving after midnight rather than the original 5pm scheduled arrival. I'd taken the easy route and prearranged pick up and accommodation with Intrepid. Given the delayed arrival I was really happy I had and was picked up and delivered without any issue which was great as it was after 1am by the time my bag arrived and I made it out of the ...

          ... my bronzed skin. Blow.

After a cheeky haircut I checked my flight details only to note that I'd mixed up the times for my flights. The one tomorrow is at 3:30pm not 9pm. That kinda forced me to shift **** on the nitty bitty ****** things I've needed to do, as tomorrow is almost a no go now. No time to get involved in any drinking games after hostel food. It's all about tinterweb usuage now. Not that I'd have made tonight a big one, I'm still feeling far less than 100%. ...

... load of Mexican ground keepers. Who can really blame them I suppose, the beaches are lovely and if you were here for a holiday and a break from the grind you could have plenty of fun I'm sure.
I wouldn't be staying in Hotel Zone however, my budget doesn't quite stretch that far so I stayed in the slightly more Mexican centre of town, pumping down street quesadillas like they were going out of fashion, whilst awaiting my Sister and her BF Nick to arrive from NZ, ...

... who we were - locals and tourists. We were all dressed smartly when most foreigners are barely dressed riding around the island. Going from door to door they knew who we were as they drove by. The day was such a nice way to finish my auxiliary pioneer hours, a huge achievement when I thought I could never do it again. Being here has really benefited my health. Don't get me wrong, I am really quite worn out now, but, nothing like I would feel at home after such a busy ...
