An early rushed start - up at 7am quickly packed and then (after loosing a padlock somehow!) we luckily got a lift on the hotel motorbike to the pier! It took 10 mins by motorbike so I really not sure I would have made it all that way if I had had to walk!

I managed to run over to the cliff where I climbed yesterday to take a picture as I …

Day one on this beautiful island! Up early for a lovely walk along the beach, it took 25-30 to walk the length of the beach. Then back for breakfast which was amazing (and included) here. She wished me well and I set off on my way. Luckily for me three German tourist were also just starting the trek so I had people nearby as I made my way into the ...

We followed him into a cave entrance at the cliff bottom, and all the way in... The mouth of the cave was amazing in it's colour - illuminated only by the colour of the water that filled it. As we pressed on though, it became pitch darkness. Swimming through a sea cave in darkness was a really cool feeling, and soon we saw ...

... most sensational places here on Earth.
Alright, enough preaching to the choir!
Yesterday I decided to stray away from the two beaches I've become so very attached to. This place I'm staying at is equipped with its own private beach(es) so it can be hard to deviate from its convenient location. However straying away doesn't come easy. It's practically all forest here which entails steep climbs and dodging of massive tree roots. There's a lovely ...
